Six sparkling Swarovski Crystal AB teardrops dance beneath handcrafted sterling silver hoops, flashing hints of blue, violet, aqua, gold and rainbow color as they catch the light. I create each lightweight hoop from hollow sterling silver tubing, solder the closure mechanics into place, and finish each pair by hand in my Montana studio.

❤️ Why You’ll Love Them

These may look delicate and effortless when worn, but there is much more handmade work behind them than you might expect.

Each earring begins with hollow sterling silver tubing, which gives the hoops the beautiful polished appearance of sterling silver while keeping them wonderfully lightweight.

I personally solder the closure mechanics onto the hoops, creating the foundation for each earring before adding the sparkling crystal drops.

Along the bottom of each hoop are three individual closed rings, each holding its own Swarovski Crystal AB teardrop.

That means you receive three independently moving crystals on each earring—six sparkling Swarovski crystals in every pair.

As you turn your head, walk or step into the light, the individual drops move and catch the light from different angles.

The crystals aren't simply clear.

Each 11 × 6 mm Swarovski Crystal AB teardrop has the beautiful Aurora Borealis finish that reflects different colors depending on the light and surroundings.

🔨 Handmade From the Hoop Up

These are not premade finished hoop earrings with crystals simply attached afterward.

I make each pair using hollow sterling silver tube hoops and personally solder the closure mechanics onto them. Once the sterling silver construction is complete, I add three individual closed rings to each hoop and attach the Swarovski crystal teardrops one at a time.

The hollow tubing also helps keep the finished earrings surprisingly lightweight despite having six crystal drops per pair.

One of my favorite things about this design is the movement.

Because the three crystals are suspended individually rather than grouped together at one attachment point, they can move independently beneath the hoop.

The result is a delicate shimmer that changes constantly while you're wearing them. Even a small movement can send another flash of color through the Crystal AB finish.
